If I Could Become a Graduate Student Again

Abstract:

After graduating over 50 graduate students in the past three decades, now I feel I know how to become a more productive and happier graduate student. I will talk about my own experiences as a graduate student and suggest a few tips to become a better graduate student.

Bio:

Dong S. Ha received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea, in 1974, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa in 1984 and 1986, respectively. Since Fall 1986, he has been a faculty member of Virginia Tech. Dr. Ha’s research interests include energy harvesting and high temperature RF circuits for downhole communications.
