Dr. Christiana Garcia Joins MICS Group

Christiana Chamon Garcia

We are excited to announce that Dr. Christiana Chamon Garcia has joined the Multifunctional Integrated Circuits and Systems (MICS) research group at Virginia Tech this Fall semester. Dr. Garcia received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston in 2017, followed by her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2020 and 2022, respectively.

Her impressive background includes roles as a Hardware Design Intern at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, an Applications Engineer at Vidatronic Inc., and an Instructional Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University. Her research interests span noise-based authentication, decentralized identity, and cyber-physical systems security, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and engineering education.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Garcia to our team and look forward to the impactful contributions she will bring to our ongoing research efforts.
